Hospice Care Gives Terminally Ill Cancer Patients More Choices In Final Care

Contrary to popular belief, hospice is a type of care received, not just a place to die. Hospice care can be received in many places including the patient's home.

There are many advantages to receiving hospice care, such as having the freedom to make choices in health care. The patient's loved ones are the primary caregivers, actively participating in pain and symptom management, with a medical staff on hand.
