Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Ribbon Cookies

Saturday October 1, 2005
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month each year, I make a batch of sugar cookies, shaped like ribbons and frost them pink. I give them out in cute little cookie gift boxes to friends and coworkers. Inside the box, I put information about breast cancer awareness. This can be as simple as printing up information on the computer and laminating it. I do this with the breast self exam instructions. You can pick up the cookie cutter at a local craft or kitchen store for a few dollars. As for the cookie recipe, you can't go wrong with this easy sugar cookie recipe from About.'s Southern Cooking Guide, Diana Rattray.
