Not Only is Smoking a Risk Factor For Cancer, It May Cause Lower IQs

According to a study published in the Alcohol and Drug Dependence. smoking may lower your IQ. The study follwed 172 male smokers over a course of 15 years and found that smoking can inpair thinking abilities. The University of Michigan study found that a lower IQ is linked to smoking cigarettes. The study examined alcoholics and non-drinkers, and found impairments in brain function in both groups.
