Bosom Buddies Star Wendie Jo Sperber Dies of Breast Cancer

Weddie Jo Sperber, star of Bosom Buddies, succumbed to her 8 year battle with breast cancer. She starred opposite Tom Hanks on the 80's television series.
Sperber was diagnosed with the disease in 1997, and then founded weSPARK, a breast cancer support foundation.
Sperber played a role in the Back to the Future movies series, as well as bit parts on television such as Will and Grace, 8 Simple Rules, Murphy Brown - just to name a few.

She is survived by her son, daughter, parents and brother. Funeral arrangements were not disclosed.
