Smokers Need Not Apply: WHO No Longer Hires Smokers
Friday December 2, 2005
In an effort to comply with it's anti-tobacco campaign, the World Health Organization has decided to no longer recruit those who smoke. This statement comes from a memo sent to employees that was obtained by the Associated Press. The memo allegedly states that WHO will not terminate current employees who smoke, but smoking will not be permitted in or around WHO property.Soundoff! Do you think people should not be hired because of a smoking habit in a health related atmosphere?
