Breast Self Exam and Signs of Inflammatory Breast Cancer

You may have heard a lot about inflammatory breast cancer in the news lately. Inflammatory breast cancer, or IBC for short, does not present the normal symptoms of breast cancer and is often misdiagnosed. There are cases where inflammatory breast cancer do not show up on mammograms.

What's a woman to do? The simple answer is this: monthly breast self exam! Checking your breasts every month is vital to breast health. Not only are women looking for the symptoms of breast cancer, but are learning what is normal and abnormal for their breasts!
