Looking for a Gift for Someone with Cancer?

Friday August 18, 2006
I will admit that sometimes it is difficult to find a gift for someone with cancer. You want to get them something that says "I am here for you", but without them being constantly reminded of their illness every time they look at the gift. So, what do you give?

There is an cancer gifting organization, Comforts and Blessings, founded by an oncology nurse and breast cancer survivor. The gifts are targeted for many types of cancer patients, not just those suffering from breast cancer. A portion of the proceeds benefit several breast cancer charities.

Be sure to check out the doorknob rings. They are perfect for hospital doors and for at home!
