British Singer Mariannne Faithful Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

Brisitsh singer/actress Marianne Faithful has been diagnosed with breast cancer and has rescheduled her world tour. It has been reported that the disease has been detected early and that Faithful is optimistic about treatment. No further details were released.
Faithful, who is 59, has been in the music scene for over 40 years, being discovered at a Rolling Stones' launch party. She gained notoriety as being Mick Jagger's girlfriend for much of the 1960's.
Faithful is expected to make a full recovery.
