Singer Freddy Fender Dead of Lung Cancer

Country star Freddy Fender died Saturday of lung cancer. The 69 year old Tex-Mex sensation was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2006, and was told it was incurable.

Fender passed in his Corpus Christi home, surrounded by family. Funeral arrangements have not yet been released.
