Sunday November 30, 2008
Recently some rumors have been floating around that TV chef and talk show host, Rachel Ray, has throat cancer. The truth is that Ray does not have throat cancer, but a benign cyst on her vocal cord that will be removed in December.

According to her spokesman, Charlie Dougiello, “Rachael is the picture of health. She is having very minor surgery to remove a benign cyst on her vocal cord. It’s a common in-and-out procedure that she will have in early December and it will not adversely effect any of her daytime show or Food Network tapings.” People close to the Food Network star say that Ray is doing fine and is expected to make a speedy recovery after surgery.
