Radio personality Don Imus announced yesterday on his radio show that he has been diagnosed with stage II prostate cancer. The 68 year old controversial talk show host released little about his diagnosis and prognosis, but appeared confident, saying his "doctors will beat it".
According to CNN.com, Imus had a prostate biopsy last Wednesday and plans to have a second opinion done soon in San Francisco. He also said that he was surprised by the cancer revealing results. Imus has been a long time vegetarian and organic food consumer. He also has no family history of cancer.
