Joe Paterno In Serious Condition, Reportedly Near Death

Several news outlets are reporting that former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno  is in serious condition, after a family spokesperson released an update to the Associated Press. The 85 year old was recently hospitalized due to complications related to lung cancer, however, his doctors have now classified his condition as 'serious'. Some reports claim Paterno has been taken off a respirator and is near death.
