Only a few weeks ago, it was revealed that actress Christina Applegate was diagnosed with early breast cancer. Today she made the announcement that she was cancer free! If it was only that easy for all women with breast cancer! Actually, Christina has a family history of the disease and took a more drastic measure in treatment that will also aid in the prevention of recurrence: a double mastectomy, even though cancer was only found in one of her breasts.

In an interview with Good Morning America, Applegate opened up about her diagnosis, the double mastectomy, and reconstructive breast surgery. "I'm going to have cute boobs 'til I'm 90, so there's that," the Samantha Who star joked with interviewer Robin Roberts. "I'll have the best boobs in the nursing home.
