Lisa Fayed

Lisa Fayed is a freelance medical writer, cancer educator and patient advocate. In her free time, she likes to volunteer, go antiquing, and of course, spend time with family and friends. Lisa currently divides her time between Washington state and Florida.

Through the diagnosis of HPV, then cervical dysplasia that finally resulted in cervical cancer, Lisa has gained extensive knowledge and insight into cervical cancer and HPV. Her role as a patient advocate keeps her up to date about cervical cancer, HPV, and the HPV vaccine.

Lisa is currently working to improve cervical cancer screening programs in underdeveloped countries. She is also working on two books, one that focuses on breast cancer survivors and the other is guide for women living with HPV.

Lisa is also currently pursuing her medical degree (MD) and plans to work in gynecologic oncology.
