Question: Breast Lumps and Cancer

Are all breast lumps cancerous?

Answer: Not all breast lumps are cancerous. In fact, only 20% of lumps found are malignant. The only way to tell for sure is through a mammogram or breast biopsy. There are some benign breast lumps that can increase a woman's risk factor for developing breast cancer.
