Guide Review - Breast Cancer Basics and Beyond by Delthia Ricks
Considering the author, Delthia Ricks doesn't have breast cancer, she sure provides excellent knowledge that usually only a patient could provide. This is firsthand knowledge that I am speaking about. It's as if Ms. Ricks has "walked a mile in a patient's moccasins". I was very impressed that fact was separated from fiction, or even a possibility. This book will tell you what we know will work now for breast cancer, not what may work or what will work in the future. I liked that she didn't speculate on what "could be". Don't get me wrong, knowing what research will give us in 5 or 10 years in good, but when you have breast cancer NOW, you want to know what is going to help you now.
I have read hundreds of books on breast cancer and this by far is one of the best out of the bunch.
