Answer: Endometrial cancer symptoms are often what prompt women to seek medical attention. Most of the time, the disease remains silent until it has spread to nearby tissues and organs.

Common Endometrial Cancer Symptoms

  • abnormal bleeding- heavy bleeding between periods, or heavy bleeding during irregular periods
  • pain during sexual intercourse
  • pelvic pain or pain in the legs or back
  • difficulty urinating or pain during urination
  • enlarged uterus found upon medical exam
  • vaginal discharge that can be thick or watery; pink or brown; and foul smelling
  • unexpected weight loss

Keep in mind that these symptoms of endometrial cancer are also symptoms for many other illnesses. Please see your doctor if you are experiencing symptoms for a definitive diagnosis.
