Symptoms of Gallbladder Cancer

Unfortunately, gallbladder cancer does not usually present symptoms until the disease has advanced to later stages. Gallbladder cancer symptoms are what commonly drives people to seek medical treatment.

Gallbladder Cancer Symptoms

Jaundice. Jaundice is a condition that causes yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes. Jaundice is a fairly common symptoms of gallbladder cancer.

Abdominal pain. It is estimated that about 50% of people with gallbladder cancer experience abdominal pain as a symptom.

Vomiting. Vomiting and general feeling of nausea are also common gallbladder cancer symptoms.

Enlarged gallbladder. An enlarged gallbladder may indicate gallbladder cancer. An enlarged gallbladder is caused by a blockage by the bile ducts.

Other symptoms of gallbladder cancer: Other symptoms of gallbladder may include fever, tarry stools, lumps in the abdomen, bloating, loss of appetite, sever itching, and weight loss.

Keep in mind that the symptoms of gallbladder cancer are also the same of many other non-cancerous conditions. If you are experiencing the symptoms of gallbladder, please see your doctor for a proper examination and diagnosis.
