Pros
  • Survivor tales from different ages and types of cancer.
Cons
  • I was disapointed that Lance's personal story was not included.
Description
  • Each story is well written... much like Chicken Soup series, yet more in depth.
  • You will find yourself wanting to read more. I think they should make this book a series!
  • The introduction by Lance Armstrong was a little brief, but touching.
Guide Review - LIVESTRONG, from the Lance Armstrong Foundation
This book gave very true, heartfelt accounts of what it is like to have and survive cancer. The stories intrigued me.. I found myself at times laughing, crying and mostly inspired ny the courage of these cancer survivors. LIVESTRONG encompasses all age groups of cancer patients, genders, and cancer types. This makes an excellent gift or coffee table book for a cancer survivor, or someone who needs a little inspiration or "pick me up".
