Intravesical Chemotherapy

Definition: A method of giving chemotherapy directly to the bladder. The drug is given through a catheter to the bladder, and is then kept in the bladder for a small period of time. The medication is then drained from the bladder. This method is often used for for early-stage bladder cancer.
