Symptoms of neuroblastoma do not usually appear until the disease has spread to other parts of the body. Neuroblastoma usually begins developing in a child as an infant, but is not usually diagnosed later when symptoms of the disease become apparent.

Commonly Experienced Neuroblastoma Symptoms

  • lump or mass in the abdomen, neck, or chest
  • bulging eyes
  • weakness
  • paralysis
  • painless, bluish lumps under the skin in infants
  • dark circles under the eyes[/br]
  • Less Commonly Experienced Symptoms of Neuroblastoma

    • fever
    • high blood pressure
      • diarrhea
      • easy bruising and bleeding
      • swollen legs, ankles, feet or scrotum
      • fatigue
      • jerky muscle movements


    • Be sure to report any symptoms to your pediatrician.
