User Submission Instructions

Do you have a personal journey with cancer that you would like to share? Whether it be how you were diagnosed, symptoms you experienced, treatment, or survivorship, we want to know! If you were a caregiver, we applaud and support your efforts - tell us how you did it!

Instructions for Submission

1. Prepare your submission. Please, no longer than 1000 words or profanity.

2. Include your submission in the body of the email. No attachments will be accepted. Please include your name and if you would like your name published with your submission.

3. Copy and paste the following into the email: I certify that I am the author or sole owner of the material I am submitting to About.com. About.com and its licensees may reproduce, distribute, publish, display, edit, modify, create derivative works and otherwise use the material for any purpose in any form and on any media. I agree to indemnify About.com for all damages and expenses that may be incurred in connection with the material. For more information, please see our user agreement.

Stories submitted cannot be published without this in the email.

4. Please send email to cancer.guide@about.com with User Submission in the title.
