Studies have shown that beta-carotene can help reduce the risk of lung cancer. Beta-carotene can be found in yellow, red, and deep green vegetables. It is also found in fruits.

Don't cheat and take a beta carotene supplement! It does not have the same effect and can be dangerous in large amounts to smokers.
