Squamous Cell Carcinoma

This photo example of squamous cell carcinoma shows shiny, pale, raised patches that are also surrounded by scaly areas. This is considered abnormal and are classic symptoms of squamous cell carcinoma.

In the early stages, squamous cell carcinoma may be hard spot. They often appear as scaly patches that do not go away. They can also appear as a sore or scab that also does not heal, or heals and returns.
