Question: Testicular Cancer Causes

What causes testicular cancer? I hear a lot of athletes get it.

Answer: Unfortunately, researchers don't know exactly what causes testicular cancer. They have, however, identified several risk factors for testicular cancer.

A risk factor is something that increases the chance of an event to happen. For instance, smoking is a risk factor for lung cancer.

Risk factors for testicular cancer include genetics, personal medical history and race. Learn more about testicular cancer risk factors.
