I did shave my head about after the 3rd day of it falling out.
Did You Choose to Wear a Head Covering or Not?
I wore scarves until I was able to get a wig. I just felt more comfortable covering my hair and trying to be as normal as I could.
How Did Losing Your Hair Affect Your Everyday Life?
It was only the windy days that affected my everyday life. Its difficult to feel when your wig hair is out of place. The wig changed my everyday life by shortening my time of getting ready in the mornings. Once my hair grew back to it's normal length, thats when I realized I was taking about an extra 30 minutes to get ready and realized it was because of my hair.
Advice
- Remember - its only hair and it will grow back. Even if it doesn't grow back you still wake up in the mornings to experience what life has in store for you. You are still here to see your family and friends.
