How Long After Treatment Began Did You Lose Your Hair?

A couple weeks

Did You Lose It Gradually or Very Quickly?

It was slow at first, I would notice it falling out when I showered

What Was Your First Reaction When You Noticed the Loss?

I have to say I felt my hair was betraying me,

Of course i thought I would be the one who's hair didn't fall out

Were You Tempted to Shave Your Head? Did You Do It?

I did, actually. I had my 26 yr. old son buzz it off. As he stood behind me and buzzed my head I felt terrible making him do this, He was now part of this cancer madness

he was crying, I looked at him and he started laughing and said i looked like one of the 3 stooges. We laughed and laugh

Did You Choose to Wear a Head Covering or Not?

I choose not to wear wigs. I wore hats and caps.

How Did Losing Your Hair Affect Your Everyday Life?

It was just weird, I felt that when people saw it, i was the lady that had cancer, My grandchildren asked a lot of questions, but don't think I was ever embarrassed

Having Cancer is nothing you should be ashamed of.
