Pregnant 3 months after LLetz
- Myself and my partner were trying for a baby for almost 4 years, when the doctors agreed we would need fertility treatment. However, they discovered a few weeks before I was to start infertility treatment that I had CIN III. I had Letz treatment done and was told to not try to get pregnant for at least 6 months to a year. Well, treatment was in Nov 9 and I have just found out I am 7 weeks pregnant. The doctor told me not to worry about the treatment as it happens quite a lot that women fall pregnant after treatment without many complications. Hopefully all well go well and there will be nothing out of the ordinary. ^_^

I watch when I ovulate and still can't get pregant. I am 25 and scared I will never have another baby. I don't know what more we can do. Leep has really effected me.

LEEP & Successful Pregnancy
- I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in situ in Oct 2008, after years of normal paps...had a LEEP in November 08. My gyn/oncologist told me to try to get pregnant immediately. I got pregnant the following month and delivered a healthy baby boy at 39 weeks, went into labor spontaneously (no worry about scar tissue). However, my husband and I were super conservative, we went to a perinatologist every 2 weeks from 16 weeks to 30 weeks for cervical length measurments for fear of pre-term labor. Now am anticipating my follow up pap after the baby.....nervous it might come back abnormal, however very grateful was able to carry a baby full term after a LEEP!

LEEP affected my homebirth
- I had a LEEP in dec 2007 and conceived in Feb 2009 after trying for 2 months. I had planned a homebirth. I had a very healthy pregnancy and went into labor 10 days after my due date. I labored all night (in constant pain, with no break between contractions) and could not dilate past 9 cm. My midwife discovered the scar band and told me I'd have to try to break through it during my contractions. I gave up and went to the hospital for an epidural and immediately dilated to 10 cm. Then there were further complications and I ended up having an emergency c-section. By that point I was so happy and relieved that the baby was finally going to come out! He was very healthy and I am very happy.

Success
- I had a LEEP in January 2009 and recently had my baby (October 30, 2009). I was told not have sex for 6 weeks and the first time I did after the Leep, I got pregnant. I had a normal pregnancy with no complications at all. When I told my OB that I had a Leep, he was not concerned and said it was a common procedure and he just scheduled me for a few more ultrasounds to make sure my cervix was closed. Another note...when I went to my first OB appointment to confirm I was pregnant, he did a pap to see if it came back with any abnormal cells. It came back NORMAL! I am in the process of scheduling another one to make sure there are still no abnormalities since I had the baby. For everyone out there who has had a LEEP, please don't be worried about getting pregnant and having a successful/healthy pregnancy. I am living proof!

LEEP 10/08, Pregnant 03/09
- I had my LEEP 10/08 and started trying to conceive in 02/09 --- confirmed pregnancy 04/08/09. I am expecting my first child 12/11/09 (currently 33 1/2 weeks), no issues at all. The DR said that some women have issues during labor, usually with dialating all the way --- doesnt mean that I will have an issue though.
