Nausea is a common side effect of chemotherapy that can affect your quality of life. The recommendation of laying still with small sips of water doesn't cut it most people. How have you dealt with nausea during chemotherapy? Share Your Tips

Marinol

The drug Marinol helped me alot. I was so sick that I would throw up water. After I started Marinol, I still felt a little nauseated, but I was able to hold some food down.

Dealing with nausea

I found that when I was under the influence of chemotherapy that I could smell alcohol and calm down the nausea. The small individual alcohol pads worked the best for me. They were easy to keep with me considering that all types of smells could trigger my nausea.
